Marg was Frankston's first Olympian, along with Lois Jackman, both of whom competed in 1956 in track and field. For the 2000 torch relay, Lois flew down from Queensland to be part of the celebrations in Frankston, making it the first time in 40 years that she and Marg were in Frankston together.
