Anonymomma's World

Anonymomma is long overdue in receiving this award. Anyone who has been on the web for a while will have heard of this woman - her realm, Anonymomma's World has almost reached legendary status, and her talent, sense of humour and upfront attitude have endeared her to many - right around the world.

We were thrilled to be invited to join her in her world - and happily journeyed through her extensive (to say the least!) site. When eventually we landed in her "Momma Does The Movies" section - we knew we definitely had a winner.

What has won her this award is her absolute love of all things film. Her story of how she has been entranced with cinema since being a kid, and her hilarious depiction of being a 15 year old usher at the local cinema (probably not funny at the time, but made us giggle now) made us realise that we had found a true film devotee.

Her honest, no-holds-barred, very insightful reviews of films currently at the box office and archive of films that have gone before, revealed a woman with a great understanding of the medium. We feel that this lady could give any film critic a run for their money. Never afraid to speak her mind, Anonymomma is the sort of audience member that we will certainly be listening to with our own films in the future!

Apart from her film section, Anonymomma's World also contains awards for participation, art, an interactive web serial, giggles, music, daily hot flashes 'n more! As Anonymomma says herself - "All brought to life by a laughing woman with a bag on her head!" - and that kind of madness should be celebrated at every opportunity!
