The Camera Never Lies - Acting for the Big Screen

Experience Level of Students Required:
Intermediate

Film work requires a different set of skills to stage, or even television acting. The basics remain the same, but the techniques for performance can be substantially different. This workshop has been created to give actors the chance to hone and practice their film technique in a safe and supportive environment. Students will be provided with a tape of their work at the conclusion of the course. A session conducted by an actor currently working in film will be an extra element of the workshop.

Students will be asked to learn a scene, selected by the tutors prior to the class (which will be sent to them when they book a place).
