The Actor On Stage

Experience Level of Students Required:
Beginner (Emerging) to Intermediate

This workshop will be a two day intensive focussing on the Stanislavski system of acting technique for those who have some stage experience and are looking for a workshop in which to stretch themselves further in the acting craft. It will also focus on the Actor/Director relationship in theatre, helping actors find a way to successfully work with directors in a variety of situations.

Tutor for this workshop will be Theatre Director, Sally McLean, who will work with students on a selection of scenes from a director's perspective.

Students will be asked to learn a scene, selected by the tutor prior to the class (which will be sent to them when they book a place), and should be ready to play the scene in a variety of ways.
