"On Guard!" - Screen Sword & Fight Technique

Experience Level of Students Required:
Beginner (Emerging)

Most drama schools will have a unit dedicated to stage fighting technique. There you will learn basic fencing, how to throw a punch, fall without injury and other basic stunt and fight work.

This one-day intensive runs on similar lines, but will also include broadsword technique, some martial arts work and the chance to learn from professional sword and stunt masters who've worked on numerous feature films and television series - both Australian and International - at the highest level.

Students will be asked to come prepared for strong physical work. Any pre-existing physical injuries or conditions will need to be disclosed by the students prior to the class, so we can cater for you accordingly. It is recommended that only those who are able to physically participate fully take part in this workshop.
