DIRECTOR: JEREMY STANFORD
Jeremy has previously written and directed the short films Itch (2003) - Selected for St.Kilda Film Festival, Finalist: Sheparton Shorts and In the Realm of the Senses film festival, Wednesdays (1999) - Winner: Cinevex award for script excellence 1999, Nominated for Best Editing & Best Screenplay at the VCA Graduation Screenings 1999, Official Selection: Seattle Film Festival 2000, St. Kilda Film Festival 2000 and “In The Bin” Currumbin Film Festival 2000 and Finalist: Nescafe Short Film Awards 2000 and Munich Film Festival 2002, Dog Jaw (1999) - Official Selection: Best of the Fringe Short Film Festival Melbourne 1999 and Trans–Fix Film Festival Sydney 2000, Mean Cuisine (1999) - Official Selection: St.Kilda Film Festival 2001, the television pilot The Hummingbirds for Pennell Motion Pictures and Moses’ Blistering Shorts - half hour television pilot for a short film program.

Jeremy has also been Associate Producer on The Australian Film Institute Awards (1998) for Creature in the Corner Productions and worked on director's attachment with Mathew George on the Australian feature film Four Jacks as well as with Chris Langman on the popular television series Blue Heelers. He is currently the attached director and script editor for You Don’t Know Me (2006) a feature film in development, produced by Don Linke with EP Domenic Benvenuto.

As a writer, Jeremy has additionally penned the scripts 20 Summers (2006) - Feature film (producer, Helene Nicol), ESP (2005) - children’s television pilot and second episode (Producer Leanne Tonkes, Steve Kearney), ESP (2003) - (Adult version) Television pilot (Producer, Steve Kearney), I Believe Everything (2001) Feature film, Ashes (2000) Feature film, Darkness Falls (2000) Feature film and Paintings Without Edges (1998) Documentary for Creature In The Corner Productions.

In the theatre, Jeremy has directed What’s The Matter With Mary Jane (2004) by Wendy Harmer - Performed as part of the Melb Comedy festival at 7 Alfred Place, My Dinner With Andre (1993) by Andre Gregory and Wallis Shaun - Performed at Mietta’s Melbourne and Carnival Of Peep (1988) by Lilly Bragge - Performed at Universal Theatre Melbourne.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Education (Drama & English) from Victoria College, Rusden Campus and a Post Graduate Degree (Film Narrative, High Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts School of Film and Television. Additional training includes the AFTRS Multi Cam directing course (2003) with Chris Langman at Channel Seven and the 2005 ARISTA workshops with Steven Cleary.

Jeremy is also one of Australia’s leading performers in theatre, film and television. In an acting career spanning nearly twenty years, he has played the lead in the feature films Compo and Memories and Dreams, and the Melbourne and Sydney theatre productions of The Club, Sweet Charity, Looking Through A Glass Onion and The Buddy Holly Story, amongst others. He is currently appearing in the lead role of "Tick" in the new professional theatre production of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in Sydney.
