MANAGER: MELANIE BRUNT
Melanie has worked
in the Australian industry in various production roles on local
and international film and television productions since 1997.
Her credits as Production Manager
include the feature film The Jammed (2006), the short
films William (2005) financed by AFC and Film Victoria,
Love This Time (2005 - also Co-Producer) financed by Film
Victoria - film received a Special Mention at the Berlin Film
Festival, My Sister (2004) financed by AFC - Winner of
Best Australian Short Film at the Melbourne International Film
Festival and AFI Nominee for Best Cinematography, Oranges
(2003) financed by Film Victoria - Winner of Best Youth Film
at Oberhausen and Best Fiction Film at St Kilda Film Festival,
Unpleasant (1999) for the VCA and Nailed (1998)
financed by the South Australia Film Corporation.
As Producer, she has worked
on Doctor By The Bay (1998) which screened on SBS Eat
Carpet, Ninas Dream (1998) and Afternoons/Deadline/Please
(1997) for the South Aust. Young Film Makers Festival -
winner of AFTRS Award for Producing.
As Production Coordinator,
Melanies credits include: the Australian feature films
Boytown (2005), Irresistable (2005), River Queen
(2004), Russell Coights Celebrity Challenge (Telemovie2004),
The Extra (2004), Roy Hollsdotter Live (50 min
feature for SBS2002), Bad Eggs (Pre-Production Coordinator,
2002), as well as the US Movies of The Week Attack of the
Sabre Tooth (2004) and Evil Never Dies (Assistant
Production Coordinator2003) and the US feature film The
Great Raid (aka Ghost Soldiers) (2002) as Assistant
Production CoordinatorAction Unit.
Melanies TVC and Documentary
credits include working as 1st AD on the Australian Education
Union (2003) and Kids Under Cover (2000) commercials
and 3rd AD on the Mitsubishi Solara and Magna campaigns (1998).
She additionally worked as 1st Assistant Director on The Last
Pechenuik for the SBS Hybrid Life Series in 2000.
Melanie has just completed
producing the short film Dugong (2006), financed by Film
Victoria. |
